Amoxicilin Side Effects

Nausea and vomiting, hyperactivity, and tooth discoloration are some of the possible but usually not dangerous side effects of amoxicillin (Amoxil®, Moxatag™). When side effects occur, they are usually mild and do not require medical attention in most cases. However, there are some potentially serious amoxicillin side effects that should be reported to your healthcare provider right away, such as watery or bloody diarrhea, dark urine (a sign of liver damage), or an unexplained rash.
