Avelox 400 mg Tablets

Avelox® (moxifloxacin) is a prescription medication approved for treating several different infections. It is a powerful "broad-spectrum" antibiotic that is effective against various types of bacteria.

For the treatment of most infections, it is generally recommended to start with Avelox 400 mg tablets (one tablet, once a day). The length of time that your healthcare recommends that you take Avelox will depend on the type and severity of your infections. Some infections can be treated with as few as five days, while others require much longer use.

It is important that you finish your entire prescription, even if you start to feel better. Stopping Avelox too soon could lead to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
