An overdose with cephalosporin medications can cause serious problems, such as seizures or a coma. If you think you have taken too much Cedax, seek immediate medical attention.

Cedax capsules should be stored at room temperature. The powder used to make the liquid suspension should be stored at room temperature until it is mixed by your pharmacist. After it is mixed, the suspension should be kept under refrigeration and must be discarded after 14 days.
What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?
If you forget to take your dose of Cedax, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In this case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
Cedax comes in the following strengths and forms:
- Cedax 400 mg capsules
- Cedax 90 mg per 5 mL for oral suspension (in various bottle sizes), cherry flavored
- Cedax 180 mg per 5 mL for oral suspension (in various bottle sizes), cherry flavored.
