Cefazolin Side Effects

As an older medication, cefazolin has not been extensively researched for possible side effects and how often they might occur. However, based on the available information, some of the possible reactions may include diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Notify your healthcare provider immediately if you develop anything that just doesn't seem right while using this antibiotic.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Cefazolin

Just like any medicine, cefazolin (Ancef®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who receives the drug will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
