Cefzil Side Effects

It is possible for people who are taking Cefzil to develop side effects like nausea, diarrhea, or yeast infections. Some of these problems, specifically watery or bloody diarrhea, can occur even after treatment ends. Although most reactions to this antibiotic tend to be minor, there are also serious problems, such as seizures or unusual body movements, which require immediate medical treatment.

An Introduction to Side Effects of Cefzil

Just like any medicine, Cefzil® (cefprozil) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the drug will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.

(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Cefzil. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
