Metformin
If metformin and cephalexin are combined, your body may metabolize the drugs differently than intended. This can significantly increase the amount of metformin in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dosage accordingly, depending on your particular situation.
 
Typhoid Vaccine
If you are taking cephalexin and receive a live, attenuated typhoid vaccine, the vaccine may lose some if its effectiveness. This, in turn, could leave you unprotected against typhoid.
