Side Effects of Ciprofloxacin Ophthalmic

Although most people do not experience problems while using ciprofloxacin ophthalmic, side effects can still occur. The most common problem is burning or discomfort in the eye. Other common reactions include eye redness, itching, and stinging. In most cases, side effects are minor; however, contact your healthcare provider immediately if you develop serious problems, such as severe eye pain, hives, or difficulty breathing.
