Flagyl Dangers

Although most people do not have any problems while taking Flagyl® (metronidazole), this antibiotic is not free of dangerous risks. Although side effects of Flagyl tend to be minor, there are some serious reactions to the medication that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider right away if you experience problems such as seizures; difficulty breathing; or paralysis of an arm, leg, foot, or hand.
