Levaquin 250 mg Tablets

If you have certain bacterial infections, a healthcare provider may prescribe Levaquin® (levofloxacin) 250 mg tablets once a day. However, there is no "standard" dose that is recommended for all situations. Your dosage will depend on several factors, such as your age and weight, the type of infection and bacteria, and other medications you are taking.

Levaquin can be taken at any time of the day. However, make sure to take the medication at the same time each day so that there are approximately 24 hours between doses. Be sure to finish your prescription, even if you start to feel better. Stopping Levaquin too soon could lead to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
