It can also be given to people after exposure to inhaled anthrax to help prevent infection. Levaquin, which is usually taken once a day, comes in tablet, oral solution, and injectable form. Talk to your healthcare provider before using this drug if you have low potassium levels in the blood, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have kidney disease.
