Problems With Levaquin

Just like many other medications, Levaquin® (levofloxacin) can cause negative reactions. Some of the most common problems with Levaquin include side effects such as:
If side effects do occur, they tend to be minor and either require no treatment or are easily treated. However, there are some potentially serious Levaquin problems that require immediate medical attention. Contact your healthcare provider if you experience rupture of a tendon, seizures, or breathing problems.
Other warnings and precautions with Levaquin apply to women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as people who have certain allergies (including allergies to foods, dyes, or preservatives). You may not be able to take this medicine if you have certain medical conditions, such as epilepsy, kidney disease, or rheumatoid arthritis.
