What If I Overdose on Cefotan?

How Should This Medicine Be Stored?

Cefotan comes in vials of the dry medication that are to be mixed with an appropriate liquid before use. The unmixed vials should be stored at room temperature. Storage recommendations after reconstitution may vary, depending on what type of liquid is used and the particular Cefotan product being used.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you miss an appointment to receive a Cefotan dose, contact your healthcare provider right away. He or she will tell you what to do next.
 

Available Strengths

This medication comes in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Cefotetan 1 gram dry powder vial
  • Cefotetan 2 grams dry powder vial
  • Cefotetan 1 gram in 50 mL (comes with the dry powder and the liquid separated, which must be combined before use)
  • Cefotetan 2 grams in 50 mL (comes with the dry powder and the liquid separated, which must be combined before use).
