Antibiotics Home > Floxin 200

Floxin® (ofloxacin) is a prescription antibiotic approved to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It comes in tablet form. The dose a person is prescribed will depend on several different factors. However, in general, treatment starts with Floxin 200 mg to 400 mg.
This medication may be taken as a one-time, single dose, or it may be taken twice a day for up to six weeks. Follow your healthcare provider's dosing guidelines carefully. Skipping doses or ending treatment too soon may lead to bacterial resistance, or may cause your infection to come back.
