Metronizadole

Were you looking for information about Metronidazole? Metronizadole is a common misspelling of metronidazole.

Metronidazole (Flagyl®, MetroCream®, MetroGel®, MetroGel-Vaginal®, MetroLotion®, Noritate®, Vandazole®) is an antibiotic often prescribed for the treatment of certain infections. It is particularly useful for infections caused by anaerobic bacteria, which do not require oxygen to survive, and parasites. This medication comes in several different forms -- including skin creams and lotions, oral tablets, oral capsules, and vaginal cream -- with the particular directions for each product varying substantially. Potential side effects of metronidazole include a metallic taste in the mouth, headaches, and nausea.
