Antibiotics Home > Plaquenil Interactions

When phenothiazine medications, certain beta blockers, or certain parasite medicines are taken together with Plaquenil, interactions can occur that may affect the drug levels in your blood. This could increase your risk for side effects or decrease the effectiveness of the medicines. To help prevent potentially negative Plaquenil drug interactions, tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking before starting Plaquenil.
