Were you looking for information about Plaquenil? Plaquinel is a common misspelling of Plaquenil.

Plaquenil® (hydroxychloroquine sulfate) is a medication that can be used to treat certain types of malaria infections, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. It can also be used to prevent malaria when taken two weeks prior to anticipated exposure and continued until four to eight weeks after you return from the high-risk area. Plaquenil is available by prescription only and comes in tablet form. While most people tolerate the drug well, potential side effects include abdominal cramping, vomiting, and diarrhea.
