Drug interactions with tetracycline can change how your body metabolizes the drugs, contribute to severe kidney damage, and significantly decrease the amount of tetracycline in your system, among other things. A few of the drugs that can potentially interact with tetracycline include penicillin, warfarin, oral contraceptives, and simvastatin.
