Antibiotics Home > Vantin Drug Interactions

To help reduce your risk for potentially serious drug interactions with Vantin, your healthcare provider will ask you about all other vitamins, herbal supplements, and prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking. Some antacids, birth control pills, and other products may increase your risk for side effects, such as kidney damage, or cause the medications to become less effective.
