Macrobid 100 mg Capsules

Macrobid® (nitrofurantoin monohydrate/macrocrystalline) is a type of antibiotic that can help treat -- and in some cases, prevent -- urinary tract infections. Both brand-name and generic versions of this prescription drug are available. Macrobid comes in the form of a 100-mg capsule and is taken twice a day, typically for seven days.
Although it doesn't matter what times of day you take Macrobid, it should be taken at the same times each day, with about 12 hours between doses. This will help maintain an even level of the medication in your system.
