Ofloxacin Eye Drops

Available in the form of an eye drop, ofloxacin ophthalmic solution (Ocuflox®) is a prescription antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as conjunctivitis ("pink eye") and corneal ulcers.

The eye drops are typically used several times a day. They are approved for adults and children who are at least a year old.

Most people are able to use the eye drops without any problems. However, as with any medication, side effects are possible. The most commonly reported reactions include a temporary burning or discomfort in the eye.

Before starting treatment, tell your healthcare provider if you have any allergies or are taking any other medications, including nonprescription products.
