cefdinir) should be fully reviewed with your healthcare provider. This prescription medication is approved for treating various bacterial infections, such as bronchitis,
ear infections,
sinus infections, and pneumonia.
Although most people do not have any problems while taking this drug, Omnicef is not suitable for everyone. For instance, you may not be able to safely use this medicine if you have certain medical conditions, such as kidney disease, certain
allergies, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You also may not be able to take it if you are currently taking certain medications (including some vitamins, herbal supplements, and non-prescription drugs).
Omnicef comes in the form of capsules or an oral suspension (liquid). It is taken by mouth, usually once or twice a day.
