Rifadin 300 Mg

As a type of antibiotic, Rifadin® (rifampin) can help treat tuberculosis (TB) and get rid of a certain type of bacteria called Neisseria meningitides (the bacteria that causes meningococcal infections, such as meningitis).
 
Rifadin comes in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Rifadin 150 mg capsules
  • Rifadin 300 mg capsules
  • Rifadin 600 mg for injection.
 
Your specific dosage will be calculated based on your weight, the reason you are taking this medicine, and how you respond to the medication. Although most people tolerate Rifadin well, side effects are possible and may include drowsiness, headaches, and heartburn.
