Although many people do not have any problems while taking this drug, Rocephin can cause side effects, such as
diarrhea, an unexplained rash, and reactions at the injection site. If negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.
Rocephin comes in the form of a solution and is administered either by an intramuscular injection or intravenously (by IV). It is typically given once or twice a day.
