Sulfatrim Drug Interactions

If certain ACE inhibitors, antidepressants, or diuretics are taken with Sulfatrim, drug interactions could occur. Some of these negative interactions may increase your risk of side effects, reduce the effectiveness of the medications, or lead to high drug levels in your body. To help prevent Sulfatrim interactions, talk to your healthcare provider before taking any other medicines.

Sulfatrim® (sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim) can potentially interact with many other medicines, too many to list entirely in this article. Some of these medications that may lead to Sulfatrim interactions include:
