Tacrolimus (Prograf, Protopic)
If you are taking Zithromax and tacrolimus together, your body may metabolize the medicines differently than intended and significantly increase the levels of these drugs in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
 
Cyclosporine (Gengraf, Neoral, Sandimmune, Restasis)
If you are taking both Zithromax and cyclosporine, your body may metabolize the medicines differently than intended and significantly increase the drug levels in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
 
Alfentanil (Alfenta)
If you are taking Zithromax in combination with alfentanil, your body may metabolize them differently than intended and significantly increase the levels of these drugs in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
 
Phenytoin (Dilantin, Phenytek)
If you are taking Zithromax with phenytoin, your body may metabolize them differently than intended and significantly increase the levels of these drugs in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
 
Triazolam (Halcion)
If you are taking both Zithromax and triazolam, your body may metabolize them differently than intended and significantly increase the drug levels in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
 
Bromocriptine (Parlodel)
If you are taking both Zithromax and bromocroptine, your body may metabolize them differently than intended and significantly increase the levels of these drugs in your system. Your healthcare provider may choose to monitor your progress and adjust your dose accordingly.
